The ASPD is proud to announce, a joint effort between the Celtic Gathering Foundation and Fort Edmonton Park, the first annual Northern Canadian Pipe Band Championships, a celtic gathering and festival weekend in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The festival marquee event will be the first ever “Northern Canadian Pipe Band Championship” on Saturday July 9, 2011.  The festival will feature a full weekend of solo piping and drumming competitions, pipe band competitions, and heavy event competitions, with on-going celtic dance demonstrations and celtic music.
The Saturday night ceilidh in the Blatchford Hanger will feature a combination of live celtic music and dance by performers from across the province.
